Yoga is another type of exercise that can be tailored to the person doing it. If you wish to aim for the advanced stretches of yoga then, by all means, do so. If you wish to just do simple stretches to make yourself more limber as you move about your house then you can use yoga for that too. One of the rules of yoga is a good rule for any type of physical exercise. Start where you are.
Aqua Aerobics
Aqua aerobics are just plain fun. You move around in the water so you get the resistance from the water as well as the support that the water provides if you are not entirely steady on your feet. Olympic athletes and senior citizens can work out in the water so you could do an aqua aerobics workout throughout your entire life. You can get great results from it at each stage of your life too.

Callanetics is a workout from days gone by that is specifically made for those with back problems, knee problems, and just for those who wish to get in shape.
